Dryer is very hot when running
Model Number: DBLR333EE2WW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My GE Dryer MODEL # DBLR333EE2WW RUNS VERY HOT WHEN IT IS BEING USED. I AM GUESSING IT MAY BE THE ONE OF THE THEROMOSTATS. IF IT IS THE THERMOSTAT, HOW WOULD I TEST THEM TO KNOW WHICH ONE IS BAD ONE? Bernd,
The first thing I would do is clean the dryer exhaust line all the way from the dryer through the vent outlet. Also you may want to take the dryer apart, check the blower wheel and clean all air ducts inside the dryer. Most common cause for such problem is a restricted air flow. Gene.
