The gas dryer runs, but no heat.
The thermal fuse showed continuity
The Igniter showed continuity
The coil with 2 posts shows resistance of 1397 mohms
The coil with the 3 posts showed 560 mohm on outside terminals, and 1365 ohms on adjacent terminals.
The Flame sensor showed continuity
The cycling thermostat showed continuity

There is another sensor in the exhaust duct next to the thermal fuse that I do not know what it does...It has 4 posts. The 2 outside posts show continuity. The 2 inside posts show open.

Help! ....now what do I do?

Peter,

Does the igniter glow?

If it does but the gas does not flow (even on the first time) and there is the gas to the dryer and the gas shut off valve on the back of the dryer is on then the problem most likely is a bad gas valve.

- The gas valve assembly Part number: AP3094298
Part number: AP3094298
