Model TGDS840PQ0
Serial MS2004635
Whirlpool Estate natural gas dryer does not heat consisently during timed drying cycle, does not heat at all during automatic sensor drying. Replaced the fuse yesterday because this was a problem a few years ago. However, this did not work this time. Should the coils be replaced? Not sure what to do or how to test this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does the igniter glow without lighting up the flame on both timed and auto cycles?

If it does then most likely the problem is a bad gas valve coils.
