Easiest way to replace drum roller and axle
Model Number: MDE4000AYW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I just ordered a drum roller and axle for my maytag neptune dryer and was wondering what is the easiest way to replace the roller and axle.

Since you have to open it up. Check the belt, the front glides, the idler wheel etc. for signs of wear. You may as well give it an overhaul. Give the interior including the blower wheel a good cleaning. This is also a good time to check/clean your vent system.
