Model Number: LEC8858DZO Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Dryer runs but no heat generated, Changed heating element, still no change.
Appreciate any help. |

Check the cut-off fuse on the side of the heating element canister, the one above the safety thermostat....this is assuming you have 240 volts going to the dryer???

That is your problem.These come as a kit with a safety thermostat. Thermostat is self-resettable and saves the fuse from blowing P # 279973
Check your dryer venting and remove clogs all the way to outside, they sell a 4 inch brush for this. Appliance parts pros should have the kit, just call.
