Amana gas dryer wont heat
Model Number: LGA 60AW Brand: Amana Age: 1 - 5 years
My Amana dryer would not shut off in auto dry, so I changed the thermostat on the front of the blower housing as advised. Now the dryer wont heat at all. The ignitor comes on but the gas valve does not open up. What do I need to check or change?

The first thing I would do is replace the gas valve coils.
- The part number for the coil kit is AP3094251 Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana dryer Model LGA60AW Gene.
