When my dryer starts up the heat comes on. After less than a minute the heat shuts off. I have checked all the venting, everything is clear. What could be causing the heat to shut off?

Does it relight every time after it shuts off? If so sounds like something is causing the burner to shut off on the hi-limit safety, see if the flame is lifting up tripping this safety thermostat...blocked air flow can cause this or a draft coming in from the dryer vent....can be other causes but check this first...

No it will not relight after it goes out. If I open the door, wait about a minute and restart, it will reignite and then shut off again.
