I am trying to replace the electic motor which is burned out. I have another electric motor from a same model dryer to replace it with. I cannot get the electric motor separated from the lint fan blade. I've tried everything. Please help!:(

With the motor mounted in the dryer, clamp vice grips on the blower shaft, and an adjustable wrench on the other end of the motor. Jerk the wrench clockwise, blower should unscrew.

If the lint screen pulls out the top
Another way of doing it is clamp vice grips on motor shaft by pully. remove the lint screen housing from the back to expose the blower wheel. Wearing heavy gloves and its left handed threads turn the wheel and the vice grips will slam against base of dryer slam it real hard until it releases they can be a bear sometimes Don't cut yourself the edges of the housing are razor sharp . I think Gillette or Bic makes the casing for em lol
