maytag dryer not hot
Model Number: LDG9316aae Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
can anyone help me. I have a maytag gas dryer thats 11 years old the ignitor turns on and lights the gas but the flame only stays lite for about 10 seconds and then goes out. after about 30 seconds the ignitors goes back on and the cycle repeats. I think it might be the gas valve but i would like to know for sure before buying a new one.

See if you can replace the coils on the gas valve. It is alot cheaper. Tom ********************************************
