Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
Hi.....I opened up my dryer to find the entire inside black!! The clothes were black.....almost looked like charcoal. I am afraid to use my dryer and I will be heading to the laundrymat to finish up. I'd like to know if anyone has ever experienced this and if I need to buy a new dryer. BTW- the black "stuff" in the dryer does not smear, come off, etc.
Diane

Diane:
I am having the same problem. Looks like "black soot". Everytime we clean the lint out it looks black. The white cloths have a fray look to them. I cannot get an answer on my problem. Looks like we are going to have to buy an new dryer.

We can't be of much help here, without your model numbers.
