My dryer takes forever to dry clothes. How do I check to see if it is a heating element that needs replacing or if a sensor has gone bad?

Check your dryer vent first a plugged or restricted vent will give the symptoms of taking 2 or three cycles to dry a load of clothes the thermistor on the blower housing may need replaced as well
