The Idler pully mounting bracket is secured with a shoulder bolt.Question is there a fair amount of play or slop in this assembly.I am trying to determine if I need a new mounting bracket.
Thank you

As long as the return spring is good and you're using the proper belt, a little side play on the pulley bracket is normal.
