I have a Maytag Neptune Dryer. When the burner attemps to light I hear a buzzing sound then then it shuts off. The Burner does not light. Sometimes it will light but but only after I have it off for a while and then only 50% of the time.

I think it one of the coils on the gas valve or a bad flame sensor. What do you think?

If the igniter glows, and continues to cycle, the flame sensor is good. Try replacing the coils.
