The dryer still burns gas and generates heat, but it no longer reaches the temperature needed to efficiently dry clothes. The operating temperature continues declining, pretty soon it won’t make any heat. Drying clothes now requires the temperature control is set on high, and the unit still does not get very hot. There may be a lint build up problem, the exhaust vent is long and has at least one 90-degree bend. I need a user/tech manual, all I have is the sears parts list. What is the recommended procedure for tackling this beast? Your advice is appreciated.
