squeaky dryer
Model Number: pyg2000aww Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Dryer makes a real bad squeaking noise from the back. It doesn't squeak in time with the drum. Sounds worse when you lean the dryer front or back. It is level. It has new glides, squeak is not consistant, loud
 then soft, stays loud, goes away???

Pull the back access plate and check the idler pulley, probably bad. If ok pull front panel and remove drum. Check the rollers in back and the blower wheel in front. You can check parts by clicking on your model # above.
