I just received a door seal for my Maytag dryer, (PYE2300AYW). The part number is 31001529. The seal looks like it is two seals molded together with two rows of tabs for installing. Should this seal be separated along the seam to make two different seals? It will not install the way it is without binding up when forming turns to install the seal.
