Default dryer wont tumble
Model Number: LER4634EQ1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

Hello..

We Did Several Loads Of Laundry This Weekend And This Morning I Went To Get The Clothes Out Of The Dryer And They Were Still Wet. After Looking Over Everything.. The Motor Runs And Heat Comes Out Of The Vent But The Drum Will Not Spin. This Has Never Happened Before..

From What I've Read It May Be A Belt?? But How Do I Go About Replacing It?

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated!! :d

If the drum does not rotate then the belt is bad, no doubt about it.

You can find the complete belt replacement instructions in the Service manual.

I would recommend to replace the idler pulley and the rear support rollers together with the belt.

- The part number for the belt is AP2946843

- The part number for the idler pulley is AP2911909

- The part number for the rear support (pack of 2) rollers is AP3098345

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LER4634EQ1
