Model Number: FERB6600FSO Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
I bought a thermal limiter from your site AP2108182 (134120900)
I got the screws out with little trouble and before i disconnect these two wires... My question is, Does it matter which wire is attached to which terminal? (positive negative if they even exist) I don't actually see any + - signs. I am not an electrician nor a dryer expert. Ads By Google Related Models |

On a thermal fuse, No , it doesn't matter which wire goes on which terminal. You may want to install the fuse, then switch one wire at a time and connect them to the same terminal as was on the old fuse. Good Luck,

Thanks For the help, and fast delivery of the part.
That seems to have fixed it, when I first installed the new limiter the dryer made the same buzz when trying to start it, however i turned the drum manually with the door switch pressed and it started. Then every time after it started up under it's own normal power, Hopefully it's fixed. Thanks again, You have a new permanent customer. |

Zankou, Glad you've got it running, Unfortunately, with you description, buzzing noise and starting by rotating the tumbler, Expect to have a motor failure in the future, Unless you had a voltage problem, or this unit has sat, unused for quite a while. Good Luck,

No , you shouldn't need any special tools, It will mean a rather involved tear down to access the motor assembly. Raise the top, remove the front panel, remove the drum and belt.dismantle the blower assembly . Here's a copy of the Service Manual, so you'll have an idea of what to expect, and the procedure(s). http://frigidaireservicetips.com/pdf...ryerManual.pdf Good Luck,
