Headley,

I take for granted you have access to the igniter,removed front panel, etc. and have unplugged the power cord.

Everybody does the same repair differently.

But basically :

Disconnect the igniter wire harness at the white connector.

With a 1/4 inch box end wrench, or socket and ratchet, loosen the small bolt holding the igniter to the mounting plate on the burner assembly, and remove igniter, by sliding towards the back of the machine.

You need to be very careful with the new part, it is very fragile.

When you install the new igniter, there's a slot on the bottom of the mounting plate, the mounting tab on the sides of the igniter insulator(white part)has to slip into that slot, and don't over tighten the mounting bolt, you could crack the new igniter,
