Default Dryer not spinning
Model Number: LNC7759A71   Brand: Admiral   Age: More than 10 years   

When we go to turn on the Dryer it just makes a buzzing sound, the Tumbler does not spin. I have opened up the top & the belt looks fine. Please Help. Thanks

Probably a bad motor, burnt start winding. I usually measure current to confirm.
You can pull motor and wire 115 volts per the wiring diagram to confirm also.

I have the same problem with a GE model. Took the motor out seems to spin ok. Test ok I don't know what else to check or replace.
