I bought a used Whirlpool dryer recently. I had to do an LP conversion on it.

I have been having a small LP leak and finally figured out from where it was coming.

In the LP Leak limiter, there is a small cone shaped opening with a pinhole opening in the center. I used some bubbles to determine that was the origin of the leak.

So my question is, why would this be leaking? Did I not do the conversion correctly? All I did was remove the Nat Gas limiter, replace it with the LP limiter which has the plastic shaft sticking out the bottom. Then replace the orifice. From a parts break down, it looks like there is a small plastic piece and a spring in this opening. Was I supposed to remove it? I don't think the instructions told me to do this.

Why else would this be leaking? Only other thing I did to the dryer was to change the Coils, which I incorrectly thought were bad. (Ended up it was just that the vent was obstructed with lint)

Thank you!
