Hello- during the process of hooking up a new dryer, I connected (it is a 4 wire installation) the black wire to the green ground screw and the green wire to the L2 hot side. Dryer spun and turned fine, but never seemed to heat up properly. Doing some research, I found these wires were hooked up incorrectly. My question is, have I done any permanent damage to the dryer or will it be OK after hooking up correctly ?
Thanks, AAP4610

I would say that you got lucky.
The unit will probably be OK once it is connected properly.

If there had been a major problem you would have blown the breaker.
