Model Number: MDE3000AYW   Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years   
My Dryer is making a squeaking noise and I am trying to find out if this is the v-belt and if it is something I can fix myself.

Probably bad drum support rollers, or a bad idler pulley. Pull drum and check. Usually, the rollers will need to be replaced. Be sure to use non-detergent oil on these.
