Default Kenmore Dryer Buzzer
Brand: Kenmore   Age: More than 10 years

Kenmore Dryer Buzzer when it starts (a few minutes after start up) will not go off until end of cycle. Purchased as matching set but I only have a reliable Washer Model Number (110 92273800) the Dryer Nu indicates it should be a washer (110 92274800) according to my research. Can I pull of buzzer lead wire without affecting other operations? Dan

I would be curious to know WHY the buzzer is going off, maybe a timer or control issue, but I had a white westinghouse model that didnt have an on/off switch for the dryer, so I made an adjustment.
with the POWER OFF to the unit, get behind the dryer and start pulling the back panel off of the console assembly, should be like 6 to 8 screws, you are looking for a small black square it should have two wires going to it, pull one of them and tape it off and secure it out of the way.
Keep in mind some models require that buzzer to cycle the timer operation, so its going to be a "try it out and see", if the timer doesnt advance probally you know what you need to do
