I have an Amana gas dyer model # NDG8805AWW. It will ignite and the flame will burn for a few seconds and then go out. I replaced the thermostat hi-limit switch. That didn't help. I replaced the vent duct and that helped briefly but the next day the same problem re-appeared. I disconnected the vent tube and the dryer runs fine. The vent tube has no restrictions. As soon as I reconnect it, the flame shuts off.
