Red face Electric Dryer sqeaks loudly
Model Number: MDE3500AYW   Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer intermittently squeaks quite loudly during opperation.

I took a quick look to see how to open it up, but it isn't obvious. Before I chip the paint, etc., does someone know where to start at to open this so I can get a look inside?

Thanks

You can find the complete troubleshooting and disassembly instructions in the Service manual.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dryer Model MDE3500AYW

Thanks Gene. I had looked at the parts breakdown on the internet before posting this question, but still couldn't quite figure it out. I looked at the service manual you gave me the link to and that's exactly what this amatuer needed.
