drum won't turn
Model Number: JDE1000W Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
We have replaced the roller wheels and the blower. After putting the dryer back together, the drum won't turn. Is there any help for me?

Make sure the belt has the proper tension.

Is there any way you are able to explain how to do this? My hubby isn't exactly a house repairman....we changed the blower wheel, placed a new belt on. It was working fine before we did anything-just made alot of noise. Maybe I should have kept the noise!!!

Here is the drawing of your dryer #5 being the belt. if you notice the loops on the lower right side of the drum that's where the motor pulley & the idler pulley go.
