Model Number: LEQ8611LG0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year
MY DRYER HAS POWER TO IT BECAUSE I CAN HEAR THE TIMER WORKING. BUT WHEN I PUSH THE SWITCH TO TURN IT ON IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. i HAVE REPLACE THE PUSH SWITCH.

If your unit is less than a year old, you mayhave voided the warranty when replacing the part, unless you had a certified tech do it.
But on another note, the timer works of 120V not 240V. Try this go to your breaker box, throw your dryer breaker off for about 10 seconds and throw it back on then try the dryer. Nat

Check it out:a back of a dryer.jpg On the left side in the rear where that heated air is vented to the outside a fuse is located that looks like this:fuse 2.jpg This dude will blow if that filter housing has a blockage. Replacing it will not completely fix that problema ifn you fail to remove that filter housing and clean out that puppy.That fuse by the way is connected in line with the door safety switch. So when it blows it is just like you have opened the door, HENCE the timer and everythang else wurks because power is not killed to the terminal. That is why it has smaller wires than the pigtail. Confused yet?
