Question "Fin" inside dryer has come lose
Model Number: 47-2251   Brand: Tappan   Age: More than 10 years

hello,
The "Fins" in my Tappan dryer are lose and one has lost a screw and is flopping around in the dryer.
My problem is I can't figure how to get the top off the dryer.
Don't know if this is the way I fix the problem.
HELP!

Also, having problems keeping my washer level. The floor is not very level. Have leveled the darn washer, many times. using the leveling legs and using the nut to secure. Maybe the threads on the leg levelers are stripped? maybe using some teflon plumbing tape might help secure the threads.

To raise the top, use a putty knife or similar tool about 2 inches from each corner between the top and front panel to release the clips then you can raise the top.

If the nuts on the washer will not stay in place or keep vibrating loose, use some lock tight on them(but only when you know exactly where you want the legs!)
