Signature 2000 dryer won't shut off
 

Help, My dryer will not shut off. Heats up fine but i have tried Time Dry and Auto dry and it starts and runs fine but will not shut off. It almost sounds like it isn't clicking like it used to when I turn the timer switch. Like maybe the teeth on the dial have worn out. Does this make sense? A new timer is $110.00. Can i replace parts of the timer? Help
