amana dryer heats for a minute
Model Number: lg4309w Brand: Amana Age: 1 - 5 years
amana gas dryer starts up and heats for a minute. it makes a noise when i switch from no heat to heat? any ideas???

Can you double check the model number it doesn't pull up. That would help a lot

If it starts to heat at start up and later it does not relight then, most likely the problem is a bad coils on the gas valve.
- The part number for the coil kit is AP3094251 Gene.
