Model Number: LGQ8000JQ4 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
My dryer stopped working a week ago. It ignites when cold but won't re-ignite after the flame cycles off. As it tries to cycle back on I hear a rattle, the igniter glows (I just installed a new igniter today in the hope that was the problem) then dies down. After a short while the same thing happens again as it tries to cycle back on - rattle, the igniter glows, then nothing. Could it be the coils (solenoids) that need to be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
