Default Dryer not heating
Model Number: FFT-8589-80B   Brand: Signature   Age: More than 10 years

The dryer will come on and light up and go thur the cycle then goes out, it will come back on and just glow but will not ignite. How do I test the igniter sensor or the coils to see if they are working or is there something else I should be checking?

Thanks,
Jackie

There is no doubt the problem with your dryer are bad coils on the gas valve. Unfortunately the model number you provided is not complete and I'm not able to give you as much help as I would like.
Gene.
