First timer here, although I recently purchased a water valve from A.P.P's and everything worked just great for about 6 months. Now...new issues.

1. Washer will only somewhat start if the Dryer is already started.
2. Washer kind of functions but the 2 lights on the panel (washer on and door locked) flicker a bit.
3. Dryer has no heat but spins fine.

I've unplugged it, waited 30 minutes, plugged it back in same issue. One last thing that seems odd to me...when the dryer door is opened (again no heat but spinning) the light inside the dryer comes on for a second and then goes out.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Well, for some unknown reason it sounds like you may have several problems.

Let's start with the easiest one. Check the dryer door switch and wiring and light bulb for the dryer light. See if you can fix that thing first.

Then tackle the heating issue. Look for a blown thermostat or thermal protecton device.

Finally, the control board may need replacing.
