9yo Amana Commercial Gas dryer has a high-pitched squeel - seems to get a little louder the longer dryer runs/heats up. It is louder outside house than inside. Neighbor says sounds like an airplane engine - kinda does. What is it likely to be? Have not taken it apart yet - looks like the entire case has to be lifted off to get to anything, so have to put on its side. Would that be okay for the unit? It still dries great.

Dryer Model Number is: LGA30AW or PLGA30AW
Amana "Commercial Quality" Gas dryer.
Trying to decide if I should try to have it fixed, or buy a new one. Would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

Mark,

Only if it is worn out.
