hi guys... i need some help.i have a kenmore gas dryer the igniter and gas comes on about the first 3 times and then won't come on any more.the igniter is new.i tested the gas coils with a tester and they were fine.the flame sensor and thermal fuse tested with good continuity also.but the thermistor tested at 3k on the dial on the multitester.should it be testing at 0....getting frustrated trying to find the problem.does anyone think the thermistor is crapping out...any help much appreciated

Gas coils wear out and overheat, then they won't work right. Thats what your symptom sounds like. Replace the coils, their cheap.

johnson...thanks for the reply i appreciate it.i'll try new gas coils.hopefully that will do the trick.
