Default coin dryer keeps running won't shut off!
Brand: Whirlpool   Age: Less than 1 year

I suspect someone bypassed the slide mechanism to save money. How is that possible? Dryer keeps running and won't shut off unless unplugged. It's a gas dryer and was set to a 30 minute cycle. The dryer is 6 month's old purchased new from AJ Madison out of NY.

Hi,

The wire to the timer motor may have been removed or you just have a bad timer.
