Model Number: 417.84052500 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
My kenmore dryer works but will not heat. Repairman told me it was circuit board. Deciding to save myself some money I got circuit board and replaced it myself. However this did NOT fix the dryer, still no heat. Dryer runs and all else just does not heat. Anybody have any ideas? I'm getting tired of lugging wet clothes to the laundromat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pull out the drum and check the heater, may be broken. If ok check the blower housing for a thermistor, a round black plastic thing with wires going to it.
