Hi, I need some assistance with my dryer. From what I have been able to learn on the internet I believe I need a Heating Element. My dryer runs but the burner never comes on. I was speaking to one the parts people who said what I need is an ignitor, that my dryer does not have a heating element. I checked the two wires from the ignitor and I show an open on the ignitor. I am looking for confimation prior to ordering a new one. What's the easiest way to replace?
I leaned the unit over to look at the bottom rear and when I set the unit back down, the drum roll support was on the ground. I can't imagine it was on, do you need it? If so, what's the best way to replace that also?
