Default whirlpool automatic dry doesn't dry
Model Number: LEQ9858PW1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

We just purchased a new home that came with this dryer. it still looks brand new. When i use the automatic dry setting, it dries for a very long time, with heat, but it stops before the clothes are dry. it usually takes another 30-60 minutes of timed drying before the clothes are dry. this is on large and small loads and settings of "less dry" "energy preferred" or "very dry". the lint screen is empty, the exhaust behind the dryer is not crushed or kinked, i unhooked it today and their was a little bit of lint in it, but not much. the lint felt cold and damp, though. I've done all the troubleshooting the manual recommends, and i'm not sure what to do next.

You have clogged ducting in the house. Airflow outside should be strong and not week. You can run the dryer disconnected from the ducting and see if it makes a difference.
To clean the ducting, you may need a duct brush available on line, just look for the name " Lint Eater". You can call this parts site, they just might have it.
