Default Dryer will not start - will power up, but when push the start button, will not start
Model Number: WED8300SW0   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

original problem was that dryer would run but no heat. Replaced the heating element, dryer ran fine, but seems to have run hot and stopped. Still had 11 minutes on load in dryer. replaced themal cutoff adn High limit thermostat. Dryer still does not rotate. Could the Thermistor be bad and not allow the dryer to work. Ohmed the Thermal Cut off, High Limit Thermostat and the Heater element and all ohmed fine. Ohmed the Thermistor and it ohmed at around 10 ohms, that is the same when I switched positive and negative leads. Could the Thermistor cause the dryer not to tumble?
