Model Number: AEQB7000EP0 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
Our dryer was sitting idle the other day, and we started hearing some random beeps. E68 was being displayed on the digital readout. I did some googleing, and tried a few tips I found, but nothing solved the problem. I cleaned the dryer line going out of the house. I removed the waffle looking piece inside the door (by the lint trap), and cleaned that all out. I also disconnected the 2 wires hooked up there, and cleaned those connections. Still having the problem. Does anyone know what this means? I called Frigidaire, and they couldn't tell me anything (go figure). E68 seems to mean a key is sticking or something, according to the info I found online. Please help! I'm going insane with this, and I don't have the ridiculous amount of money that a repairman will want to charge me. Thanks.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE AEQB7000EP0 Frigidaire/dryer | AppliancePartsPros.com And a tech sheet http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodin...0ts_wd_EFS.pdf E68 is indeed a stuck key. The control board monitors the keys if one of them remains closed it gives you the error. Nothttp://frigidaireservicetips.com/pdf...ryerManual.pdf sure about the model but this may also come in handy

No luck. I disassembled all of the electronics, and inspected all of the buttons. All of the buttons seemed to "click" properly. I reassembled everything and plugged the drier back in. I didn't get an error code or anything. I thought it was fixed. I did a load of laundry, all error free. Then, about 2 hours later, I hear the drier beep. Keep in mind, it wasn't being used at this point. Then I hear the dreaded 6 beeps. I go check, and yep....E68. Ugh.

Unfortunately it sounds like the control board is shot.
Since you have done a lot of troubleshooting if you order a replacement from AppliancePartsPros they will allow you to return it if it does not fix your problem. See their return policy.
