Can the dryer be easily separated from the washer for handling purposes?

I see lots of views on your ? but no replies. That seems odd. I am not a tech but I do know that Whirlpools thin twins could be taken apart as our shop techs used to take them apart often and when changing out line cords the flipped open at the dryer. I thought I would at least give you that much. I believe there are 4 screws one at each corner that attach the two I believe above the control panel. Hope this helps but I am over my head.

Thanks Wendlynb for your reply. Two brackets do hold the two units together. Also, two tension springs are visible- one on each side. I don't know their purpose or how easy they are removed and replaced. Other things may not be visible e.g. electrical connections. Maybe we should abandon this approach!
