Montgomery Ward Gas Dryer
Model Number: UAN-8310-80A Brand: -other- Age: More than 10 years
Dryer works okay. Heats up, drys cloths, but make a loud noise as the drum turns. Does this dryer have a roller you have to replace or is it the idler pulley? Open for suggestions, the noise is getting to me and I can't afford to call a repairman.

probaly needs a rear bearing
This is a frigidaire/westinghouse/gibson type of dryer. The noise is from a worn out bearing. Get it fixed soon or the drum will eat its way into the heating element. rear dryer bearing kit.jpg
