Dryer light comes on but when you press start nothing happens

Just bought this dryer approximately 14 months ago. It dried the first load fine and when I got ready to dry the second load, the light is on in the inside, but nothing happens when I press start. What is usually the cause of this and were should I start? I appreciate ANY help!
