Gas dryer does get hot, then after 15 min gets cold
Model Number: LGN2000LW0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Need HELP Please!
I have a whirpool imperial series gas dryer that originally came with the house we bought in 2006 and since then its been doing great for us, until 2 weeks ago. I noticed that the dryer was heating up and getting hot, but after a while (maybe after 15 min), the dryer went cold. After stopping the cycle and starting it again, it would again heat up - then go cold - dryer drums does spin. My husband has replaced the thermostat (purchasing part from this website) but it's still doing the same thing. Although the heating time has been longer than before. We don't have the manual for this dryer (never came with the house) and can't find diagrams as to where each parts are in the dryer. Can anyone help as to what could be the problem and also where we can find diagrams on the dryer? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Ads By Google Related Models
