Model Number: JDE2000WC Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
The problem with my dryer is that the heating element will starting working as soon as I turn it on, but it will turn off a few seconds later, and the machine still keeps running. I already replaced the thermostat near the fan., and it still has the same problem. I don't know what else to do.

check to see if the exhaust venting at rear of dryer to outside is clean, there shoud be lots of airflow to out side when dryer is running,if not there is a blockage or venting is crushed behind dryer, sometimes birds nest in outside vent
