Cool Dryer stops heating after a few minutes
Model Number: LGN1000HQ0   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

When I start my gas dryer it heats for a few minutes then the heat stops, but the dryer still runs. After 20 minutes or so, I restart the dryer and again, it does the same thing...starts up drum turns then the heat kicks on, then after a few minutes, it stops heating. Any suggestions on what I should do? I already checked the vent...i even took it off and turned my dryer to the side and just let it vent in the open, and still the heats goes off after a few minutes.
