Model Number: KUDP01FL Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
I am searching for the proper replacement heating element part for my KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher Model #KUDP01FLWH1. I have found a part online, but when looking at the diagram/picture of the part, it does not match the circular heating element that is in my dishwasher. Every search I do at the various online parts websites take me to this part (8194200), but when I look at the diagram...that is not the heating element that is in my dishwasher!

Thanks so much for the information. I ordered the part you recommended and it's on its way. I notice that this new element requires the installation of a new computer board that needs to be replaced at the same time. Where does this board go? You wouldn't happen to know if there are any instructions available to replace/install this board? Do these boards reside in the door assembly somewhere? Again, many thanks for all the advice provided to us novices.

Do these boards reside in the door assembly somewhere? Yes. it is in the door You wouldn't happen to know if there are any instructions available to replace/install this board? The following should help https://secured.whirlpool.com/Servic...$FILE/KD01.pdf See pages 14 & 15. By the look of it you have what they call a split control.
