Hi all - my brand new hotpoint dishwasher keeps filling up with water.
I can only assume it comes from the sink somhow. The drain has been snaked out and is clear. The discharge hose is connected to the garbage disposal. I have verified that the rinse/drain cycle of the washer is functioning normally. Does this have somthing to do with the "loop" in the drain hose ?? ? Because mine was to short to have a loop.

Yes it is probably due to not having a loop.
